Mr. Stan Magee was the convener of the WG 7 (1999-2002) during the development of ISO/IEC 15288. The maturity index of this draft standard went from 2.5 to 4.7 (Scale 1 – 5) under his leadership. Mr. Magee has over 42 years experience in the software world; 34 years working the Boeing Company. Since 1992 he has operated his own company (SEPT) Software Engineering Process Technology specializing in providing software engineering standards expertise to organizations and governmental entities. Mr. Magee has written three books concerning software engineering standards, as well as technical reports and articles on this subject. Mr. Magee has a MBA in International Business and a BS in engineering. He has the expertise to help you implement 15288 for your organization. Ken Crowder |

Mr. Crowder was the principal representative from INCOSE (International Council of Systems Engineering) to the WG 7 working group on the development of ISO/IEC 15288. He has been the working group facilitator to produce the guide to 15288 (ISO/IEC 19760). This guide will be published early in 2003. Mr. Crowder has over 35 years experience in the System Engineering world working for governmental agencies and major corporations. Mr. Crowder was a Board member of INCOSE and currently leads special committees. He holds an M. S. in Computer Science and a BS in Chemistry/Mathematics. Mr. Crowder has the expertise in 15288 and System Engineering to help your organization apply 15288 to the challenges of your organization and the 21st century. Dr. Harold Lawson |

Dr. Harold “Bud” Lawson was elected by WG7 as the architect of ISO/IEC 15288. In this role he has made major contributions in establishing the powerful concepts and principles upon which the international standard is constructed. Bud also heads the Swedish delegation to WG7. He has been active in the fields of computing since 1958 and systems engineering since 1974, with broad international experience in the private and public sectors as well as in academic environments. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple and a PhD degree from the Royal Technical University, Stockholm. He has received many professional honors and awards and is a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery as well as a Fellow of the IEEE. In 2000, he received the IEEE Computer Pioneer award for his 1964-65 invention of the Pointer Variable Concept for programming languages.
