SEPT - Software Life Cycle Process Experts

Software Engineering Process Technology (SEPT) was formed in 1992 and since that time has been a leading provider of products and services for software process standards.

SEPT Founder and President, Stan Magee has been active in systems and software engineering standards development since 1986. From 1999-2002, Stan was the convener of the ISO/IEC Life Cycle Management Working Group (WG 7) that developed ISO/IEC 15288:2008 - the standard for system engineering life cycle processes. Stan is co-author of the books, Guide to Software Engineering Standards and Specifications and Guide to Standards and Specifications for Designing Web Software. He was elected as a charter member of the IEEE Computer Society Golden Core in 1995.
